They say "A picture is worth a thousand words". As well it might be, a photograph need not be confined by the frailties and imperfections of words. It transcends the perceptible, the describable.
To me, visual story-telling is far more interpretive than it is descriptive. As much as a photograph tells a story, it’s beauty lies in what is not told. What is left to the imagination of the viewer. Therein lies the captivating power of photography - to stir one’s soul into deeper introversion, emotional resonance.
I am fascinated by the enigma, the romance of photography. The poetry in it. I do not believe in genres, but enjoy exploring the fluidic boundaries between them.
